jumbled

The jumbled up puzzle you played when you were 10 doesn’t interest you anymore
Perhaps everyone I know is picking up a piece of them and adding to the puzzle
All of them mixed up jumbled along.

I don’t know which part fits where but at the end I hope it make sense
Living in the past, while your body outgrew your soul
You listen to the silent screams at the back of your mind
Wanting to settle them down on a dark dark night
Putting your brain in a jar so you can rest before another fight
Before your brain picks on which tense to pick in broad daylight.
